CORRECT USAGE - Position the sharpener on a stable surface, using one hand to grasp the E-Z grip handle and the other to hold the knife handle. Fully insert the knife blade into the slot at a right angle to the sharpener, pulling it back several times to achieve sharpening. After honing the knife's edge with the carbide side, switch to the ceramic side of the unit for a smooth finish on the edge.
